Travelling with children in Malaysia requires proper child restraints — it is the law and it is the right thing to do. Child car seats are available with every booking. Just tell us your child's age when you book, and the correct seat is installed and waiting in the vehicle.
A rental fee applies and will be confirmed during booking. Your child's safety is our priority.

Infant Carrier
Rear-facing seat for babies up to approximately 13 kg. The bucket-style carrier reclines the baby safely and can be removed from the car for carrying. Essential for newborns and infants.

Toddler Seat
Forward-facing seat with a five-point harness for children approximately 9 to 18 kg. Provides head, body, and hip protection. Our most commonly requested seat type.

Booster Seat
Raises the child so the vehicle seatbelt sits correctly across the chest and hips. For children approximately 15 to 36 kg who have outgrown the harnessed seat but are not yet tall enough for the adult seatbelt.

Common Questions
Can I request multiple child seats?
Yes. If you have two children who each need a seat (for example, an infant carrier and a toddler seat), let us know and both are installed. We may recommend an MPV instead of a sedan to ensure comfortable seating for everyone.
How do I confirm the rental fee?
When you contact us to book, mention that you need a child seat and your child's age. We will confirm the seat type and the applicable rental fee before finalising the booking.
Can I bring my own seat?
Absolutely. If you prefer using your own child seat (many parents do for familiarity), bring it along. Your driver will assist with installation and ensure it is properly secured.
Is a child seat needed for short trips?
Yes. Malaysian law requires child restraints regardless of trip duration. Safety does not have a distance minimum — accidents can happen on any road, at any distance.

What types of child seats do you provide?
We carry rear-facing infant carriers (0-12 months), forward-facing toddler seats with 5-point harness (1-4 years), and booster seats (4-12 years). Tell us your child's age and we install the right one.
Is a child seat required by Malaysian law?
Yes. Since January 2020, children under 136cm must use an approved child restraint in private vehicles. This law applies to hired cars with driver. Taxis and Grab are currently exempt.
Can I request child seats for airport pickups?
Absolutely. Your airport transfer vehicle arrives with the child seat pre-installed. No dragging car seats through the airport — just walk to the car and buckle in.
